it's the bank holiday weekend at 6 highfield!
it's amazing how the prospect of having a 3 days weekend can do to your mental health. Instant happy pill:D

I had a girlie friend sleeping over yesterday night. It's nice to have the extra oestrogen around the house. And even more interesting to see the effect of the extra oestrogen on the boys,hehe. Whenever my girlies are around, the boys are very well behaved. Firstly, they willingly give up the coveted comfy sofa seats. I also noticed how readily they hand us the remote control and passively watch the girlie shows of our choice. And how they actually volunteer to wash my friends' plates AND mine as well after a meal:D Not to mention how reflexively fast they scuttle towards the sink to hand me their plates when i am washing up for my friends, hmph. hehe, trivial observations they may be for now...but with deeper insights into them, they may prove to be a very, very powerful survival tool for a gurl to have around here, muahahaha

anyhoos, thanks to the prospect of the long weekend, i was able to give my novel my fullest attention and finished reading it. heh, all 900 pages of it:D Aizad accomplished something wonderful as well, he finished his role-play ps2 game, yayy! hehe, more chance to watch weekend tv with my breakfast...for now:D kamal achieved an even nobler task..he cleaned up his room and ALSO vacuumed the living room!

ahhhhhh the undeniable positive energy that can be derived from a long weekend....ommmmm

hehe, but i guess the positive energy sort of sizzled out by evening, when all 3 of us were BORED but too lazy to do something about it:D
well, hopefully, we will be able to entertain ourselves better tomorrow...
